Morocco - land of adventure, medieval cities, ancient villages, high mountains, desert, snake charmers, scorpions and ............ erm...... 'rocks' according to Flinn; "Mama, Mo-rocc-o means lots of rocks" advised Flinn the minute he heard that's where we were going in the summer.

Flights to Marrakesch were booked in January and from the day of booking, until the day of departure, Flinn told everyone who would listen - and even those that wouldn't, that he is off to Morocco to see "snake charmings and camels"

and to go down to the Sahara to "play with scorpions."

Seeing snake charmers - yes, riding a camel - yes, playing with scorpions - absolutely, categorically - NO!!! My wish list and Flinn's obviously do not correspond.

Imogen is her usual laid back self about the whole thing and is just happy to finally get to Morocco after years of being promised that we would go 'sometime'. Her matter of fact "whatever mam" combined with Flinn's wish to live dangerously has all the earmarks of a very interesting trip!!
