WARNING: GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS We started the day with a visit to the war museum. Again a very bias war museum. The artefacts and photos on display seemed even more horrifying than the museum in Hanoi. To the point were I had to go outside for air for fear of being sick. No photo has ever pushed me to that point before. At the start of the tour, there was all the standard weapons and vehicles; tanks, helicopters etc. All belonging to American troops. It's weird...

Our time in Dalat had come to an end, next stop Ho Chi Minh City - otherwise known as Saigon. My body was aching so badly from the abseiling the day before, just shows how unfit I am. We got onboard a sleeper bus to take us to HCMC. This is our first experience on a sleeper bus so we weren't holding out much hope based on how awful the trains had been. On the bus there was 3 lanes of seats that looked like reclining chairs with space to either side of them so...

Today was abseiling day so up we were at 7am feeling fresh. Well I was, Mark was hungover as he'd found a buddy to drink beer with in the hostel until 2am. We were taken by a minibus into the jungle to start our day of adventure. Once there we trekked to the 1st abseil, my clean trainers were caked in mud. I hate mud! Even in wellies I avoid stepping in mud so that wasn't fun. Whilst trekking I was also being bitten to death by Mosquitos. I have such a bad reac...

We had a long day travelling yesterday and have booked to go abseiling tomorrow so we wanted a bit of a chill day today. We headed into the centre of Dalat and found a little cafe to have a drink in. The plan was to have a few coffees/tea and do some research for the next part of our trip. However the tea was awful and the coffee even worse so we headed back. Mark ordered a white coffee but the milk never arrived, when we asked for milk we received some gloopy ...

We booked the bus to Dalat for today. We could either book for 8am or 1pm so of course we booked for 1pm so we could have a lie in and take our time packing. It's awful having to pack in a dorm whilst everybody is sleeping. No one has mastered the skill of being quiet. We had heard that because Dalat is in the mountains, it would be cooler than at sea level so we were looking forward to a temperature that didn't cause us to sweat all the time. Who'd have though...
