A relatively early night the day before meant we were feeling a bit more up to moving today, but not too much moving, so we decided on taking the ferry to Manly Beach.
The ferry ride itself was beautiful, with views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and islands all around Sydney.
Arriving in Manly, I fell in love with the place straight away. With two beaches, one calm sea and one wavy sea, connected by a boulevard of shops and bars, what's not to love?! We couldn't quite put our finger on it but both Mikaela and I decided we definitely preferred Manly Beach to Bondi Beach and wished we had more time to explore it.
We even had the good fortune to see some fitness trials happening on the beach and a surfing competition, which made for very nice viewing.
After an essential ice cream on the harbour wall, we headed back to Sydney for our last night out.
However, since we arrived back so late from the beach, it meant everything was pushed back a few hours and we only managed to have time for one slice of pizza for dinner - not ideal. When we were finally packed and ready we went to the Ivy with our new Bondi Beach friends.
As the club is free entry we were anticipating it to be as packed as World Bar was on our first night. Luckily though, the club was busy but not suffocating and Laura getting very drunk led to some world class dance moves.
Sadly I couldn't drink too much as I was going to be breathalysed in the morning for my Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb!
