Hi Everyone!

I know that you have all been waiting to hear from us to hear that we have arrived safe and sound!

We have! So no worries there! Only after being picked up by a random India man's private driver at 4 in the morning to be driven half way into Delhi, only to be taken back once the driver's employer realised we weren't his friend from Dubai who he had invited across for his wedding.......

Anyway! After some major panic attacks from me, and only mld bewilderment from Joe we managed to get back to the airport to find a driver from our hotel who was waiting for someone else to arrive but luckily still had the 'Mr Joe Eley' sign neatly tucked under his arm! Only arrived very late to the hotel at 6:30 am so spent most of the first day catching up on sleep before wandering round the mentalness that is Delhi!

Only managed to get productive today (Day 3) after taking some time to find our feet in a truly insane and chaotic city! We went to see the Red Fort and Humayum Tomb which were both very beautiful and tranquil compared to the madness that surrounds them. It takes a long time to get anywhere in Delhi as the traffic is simply wall to wall but this is easily done by autorickshaws which manage to nip in and out of tiny spaces that defy belief!!

Off to Agra tomorrow to see the Taj Mahal then hearding to Jaipur and onto the Rajasatan route the day after so lots more exciting posts to come!
