We flew over to Columbo to visit Alistair. Arriving at the villa we were surprised by the size of the house , it was huge! We had a gorgeous room, lap pool and Sumnar the housekeeper to wait on us for a week :) After a year of not seeing any family or friends it was lovely to see Alistair. He took us out to the best hotels in Columbo sipping cocktails and enjoying the view from either the beach or rooftop bar. I went to the local market with the house keeper it felt very strange everyone looking at me asking why I was there, but good to see how the locals live. Unfortunately a couple of days into our trip we both got food poisoning spending the rest of our days in bed with no food :(
