Wow...Bangkok is pretty mad: the city that truly never sleeps. A truly magnificant, yet smelly experience. The whole city was so chaotic...From hopping on and off a tuk-tuk toi grabbing a lift with a random tourist officer on the back of his mo-ped, it was brilliant. I ahve had my hair braided...purple and yellow. Only cpst me 1000 Baht (15 pounds approx), which took bout 2-3hrs, on the Koa San Road (backpackers paradise). Spent too much, ate too much and not slept enough! have the runs pretty bad, I guess thats what they term "travellers diahhorea", nice.
Been to visit the Golden Palace and the National Museum in Bangkok, and the 'reclining budda', which were good fun touristy things to do.
Now planning on heading to Ko Tao, where they shot the beach and also a scene from one of the James Bond Movies. A beactiful secluded island. Cant wait. Only stayed in Bangkok a few days, apparently thats all you should stay for, as ppl tend to get a little too comfprtable and stuck down the heavily westernised area known a Kao San road- and tend not to experience the better and far more beautiful parts of Thailand.
I shall update me pics very soon. as soon as I get a spare hour or so- took some cracking pics, but not had chance to get them uploaded, but promise to do so soon.
Anyway thats all for now folks, but will hopefully update soon. Right now I have a slow long boat to catch to a lovely remote island, where I plan to spend my nxt week or so. Chiow for now.
