Koh Phi Phi is a beautiful place but it definatly is not a secret i was shocked by how busy it was. The good thing about it was there were no cars or scooters which was good but a huge amount of shops in one area. The place was pretty expensive compared with the rest of our travels. We arrived in the evening which wasnt a good idea as evrything somehow gets more expensive including finding accomaodation but we found an alright place opposite 'the reggae bar' where you can get in the boxing ring and fight your friends etc, its so funny. We didnt get much sleep that night as the music from there sounded as it was in our room, so loud was quite funny. The following day we got a boat to an awesome beach where we dag this 5 foot 8 hole (give or take an inch) was hard work (see pics) That night we ended up staying in the reggae bar where i drowned my sorrows about man utds shocking loss to pompy! grrr but i soon forgot about that when drunk freinds started getting in the ring to beat each other up, i was in stiches.
The following night was by far the best so far and we camped under the stars on 'The Beach' with 20 pretty cool people. The beach was immense and so peacful as noone was on it our own small paradise. We went for a midnight dip which was the most amazing swim ever as as you swum you didturbed these plankton which then glowed (like off the film the beach) was such an incredible sight with and without goggles.
Im currenly writing this in Koh lanta a larger island where we have for the first time beach huts right next to the sea which is pretty cool. We did another 2 dives today which i enjoyed. The first one was crap as the current was too strong it was on a shipwreck and it lasted 5 minutes and didnt really see much. Our second dive next to phi phi (koh bida) was by far my best dive so far as we saw a ray, 2 leopard sharks, a turtle and lots of other really cool fish. The last day we rented scooters which was a stroke of genius as they were reallygood fun and a greatway to see the island and we ended up on this amazing beach which we shared with 3 other people.
