As they say Koh Phangan is a party island and i would definatly agree. We arrived after a quick boat journey and the coolest taxi ride ever in the back of a pick up was very cool. The place was jam packed full of travelers and as we knew the first port of call was to find a place to stay which we knew would not be easy. Every place we went to laughed as we asked for a room and said no until we found this place which had one room left which was pretty lucky.
We got ourselves down the full moon party beach asap and it was packed full of young people and im pretty sure it took me about three hours to see a girl who was a bit of a stinker. Again i was confused to see the amount of swedes, they were everywhere not that i was complaining as Malin had taught me a few useful phrases but none to work on the ladies. Gutted. Another gutting factor was that the full moon party had been suspended until the 24th meaning it wouldnt make sense going back to Koh Toa.
We also entered this four a side beach volleyball tournament in which against all odds won as we were probably the smallest in the competition. We won money and a t shirt. To celebrate we thought we'd go out and sample some of the buckets that were on offer and they turned out to be lethal and i ended up cutting my foot and getting a pretty bad stomach the following morning. This angered me greatly as i knew that i couldnt drink for the most epic party ever. The night came and was still good even though i was under the weather and ryan and pat certainly looked like they were having a good time. Overall i could have enjoyed the island a bit more if it werent for a couple of mishaps. Sorry didnt take any photos as i forgot/didnt want to lose me camera.
P.s. If you go get a chicken shcnizel sandwich as it was close to a perfect sandwich
