Leave home at 11 with Mum & Lauren, feels like I'm going to work! Arrive at Heathrow at 12ish, only have to wait about 10 mins for Rikka to be dropped off by her friend :) it's just started raining, so I'm glad we're going on holiday!!! Check in and head straight through security.

We get lunch from Pret. I get my usual Avocado & Herb salad wrap, yum! Wait almost an hour at gate 9 until we can board the plane. Eventually take off at 3:45pm, once we're up in the air we can turn phones on, so send Aaron a text when I'm flying over Frankfurt (because I can) :D

Watch "The Other Woman" which was really funny :) then lunch arrives! My food came out before everyone's as I get Veggie food :) the food was so good, aubergine and pepper curry!

Spent the rest of the time watching "Moone boy" and "Anchorman". Really strange. Flying east at this time of day as it got dark real quick, by 7 (UK time) it was pitch black outside! Note to self, don't ask for English tea on an arabic flight, it's disgusting! 

Fall asleep watching "The Jungle Book", then we finally come into land at 1:40am (Abu Dhabi time) and it's still 44* outside! :) the airport reminds me of Dubai!
We find a little spot in between the travelator and the wall that no one walks along and get some sleep there, we'll try to, Abu Dhabi airport never calms down! Finally get to sleep at 2:20am.
