"London calling, yeah I was there too..."
So we have now been in London town five days and it's been a whole world of fun. I've managed to walk round most of the city and see all the tourist sites, old buildings, bridges and such like. Climbed up Monument tower in the heart of the city, which had a great view. Also been in a few of the little old London Pubs and drunk beers I've never even heard of. There's also been loads (this is gonna sound a little girlie) of good shopping. Heaps of cool little vintage shops and all the cheap major chains. The shopping continues into the food but. The markets have the tastiest meals. Curries, Pies, sausages, some epic coffee and more beers from every corner of the globe. Even back to home, we found a boutique bottle shop with little creatures!
I've spent a lot of the last two days catching up with Sian and Bruce. It's been ages but its good to them and they are as much fun as ever.
Yesterday was wedding day but and a public holiday which ment people everywhere! We made our way to Hyde Park with 100000 poms and watched it all on the big screens. There was people dressed up, drunk, picnicking, cheering and crying. The party didn't stop there bet. There was street parties way into the night and even back in the hostel... So yes I'm writing this one a little hungover.
No plans for the rest of the week but there's always something to do here.

Nanna & Grandad Great to get your messages. Keep the story coming, looking forward to the next instalment. It must have been chaos in Hyde Park, but I guess you have to say you were there. Hope you are keeping well. Be in touch again soon. Stay safe. Love Nanna & Grandad xxxxxxx
