This small alpine botanic garden is one of only a few in Europe. The garden is not doing so well because of climate change.
The woman working there said that all the plants were blooming too quickly because May is like July, and losing their petals too quickly.
While we were there a television crew was interviewing the local tourist people, and then, poor things, they interviewed me.
So I may appear on Slovenian TV some time with very strange subtitles as I am sure I was fairly unintelligible to the untrained ear.
The garden is set alone and so it isn't really integrated with other facilities to encourage people to visit. Early days?

Di The garden looks beautiful but sad about the effects of climate change. Love all your entries about walking in the gorgeous Triglav NP. You seem to be having the most marvellous time. Good for you.
