Today was a sightseeing day around jasper and our cabins. I decided today that since we hadn't seen much wildlife and the kids spent most of their driving time on iPads I put prizes on offer - lollipop for a chipmunk or squirrel etc, chocolate or ice cream for a moose, elk etc, and a stuffed toy bear for a bear. Wow we woke to the hugest amount of snow. The temp was well below 0 and everything was buried in snow. We packed up and dealt with a feral Isla who managed to lose her princess makeover and universal studios toy all within a half hour. We headed out for a quick walk and checked out the hire car. Woke up early to get on the road with plans to visit kicking horse resort to ride the gondola to the top and see the bear refuge.
