Alaska Marine Highway was quite a trip. Thanks Dave P for the heads up on this one. We boarded the ferry at about 10 pm on the 19 and set our tent up on the back deck of the ship. We pulled into Dawson City yesterday after a quick drive down from Tombstone Territorial Park on the Dempster Highway. Dawson is definitely a tourist trap but interesting nonetheless. Amazing trip up the Alaska Highway. Kids had a blast at the amazing sign post at Watson Lake. The weather and the highways have been fantastic since we left Liard. I'm struck by how well this City does at tourism and creating a liveable city in the Arctic. Well we are three days into our "year off" and camped for two nights at the amazing Liard River Hot Springs. The Road Schooling focus for the last three days has been on the number 24.
