Just a quick note to let everyone know that we arrived safe and sound in Halifax today. We had a good flight down from Ottawa and could smell the sea air as soon as we stepped outside. Forgot how good that is. We've popped into Mike and Ange's place for the night in Timberlea so the girls could visit quickly with their cousins. Tomorrow we head down to Lunenburg for a few days of R and R by the sea before coming back up to Halifax for the weekend then onto PEI, Cape Breton and the shores of Newfoundland. Forecast is sunny and plus 24 for the weekend here in Halifax. Hopefully it won't slow the fall colours which we are anxious to see. More from the Bluenose Province and our old stomping grounds later.
