On the first day of the Stray bus after getting up for a 7am start I get on the overcrowded bus to head to Hahei. Stops along the way at supermarkets and fruit stalls to gather bits for a bbq feast that evening done by the fine hands of Seagull the driver. When we arrived at around 2pm I set off for a walk round to Cathedral Cove, the beautiful scenic beach along the coromandel coastline with Adam, my seat buddy on the bus. A good walk in the baking sun, my body found it a bit hard due to the lack of fodd it had to burn for walking, but I had a very enjoyable trip much the same J The evening was spent chatting and mingling over the tasty $10 barbeque.
