Hi All

can´t get the wifi to work on my laptop so cant upload photos yet. Rest assured though that I had an absolutely fantastic 2 weeks in the Galapagos Islands. Highlights were snorkelling with Hammerhead sharks and sea turtles, seeing the boobies dance, and getting upclose and personal with Giant tortoises and Iguanas.

Staying in the Centro Historico in Quito which is beautiful - gorgeous colonial buildings everywhere and the people are lovely. One point of note, the people are so short I can see over their heads in crowds! Came in handy when I went to watch the changing of the guards and the president came out on the balcony to wave at us :-) Spent yesterday and this morning hanging out with a lovely couple, Mark and June from Canada. We did some sightseeing together and it was great to have people to talk to about what we were seeing. Was nice to have company for meals too!

Heading back to Lima tomorrow afternoon. Hoping the wifi is more reliable there and will bore you all to tears with loads of photos of iguanas of all sorts of colours.
