So we have been here a week already and it's flew. We spent the first week at a bach (kiwi term for beach house) on Ocean beach, fantastic place where we will be spending xmas day! We have met some nice people and had a great barbeque at geordie Daves house which looks over his own private little bay! Oh yeah n the food was fantastic too! We went to a place called Goat island for the day as the snorkelling is supposed to be fantastic, i'll take their word...

So, Fiji! We gonna be here 2 weeks instead of 4 days, which is what we got to spend in Hawaii instead of 2 weeks 'cause of the accommodation problem. I'm really glad we did as it is a fantastic place. We literally got off the plane welcomed by a fijiian band (at 5 in the morning!) and dragged into a travel agents. We were told we would be best off going out to the islands cause of the military coup or something?. Next thing we knew we were on a boat for 5...

So it's only our 4th day in Hawaii and already we are leaving! We can not find any accommodation from 6th to 12th of December,so we have to go to the airport tonight and go on standby for a flight to Fiji. I can't believe we haven't even done anything, there is so much to do here and we have only been to the zoo! There is waterfalls the beautiful north shore, with it's huge waves, hidden little beaches with remarkable reefs, flea markets, hula sho...

Or as natural as they can get in a place like Hawaii! Aloha all, and Mahalo. So Hawaii is the hi-rise, fast food,  fat cat American paradise you imagine it to be, i'm told otherwise off fellow backpackers, but yet to see anything beautiful or natural and undisturbed by the JCB's they have parked on Waikiki beach front! I'm gonna take a bus to the north shore today to view the waves, as they at their worst today ( they can reach up to 50 ft) and tommorrow after...
