Hi all Landed in Orlando (much earlier than expected as we managed to get an earlier flight from Atlantic City, New Jersey). Spent the whole afternoon and all evening shopping and shopping and oh yes - shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't expect too much blog entry from here as yes - we will be busy shopping!!!! Actually though I am visiting a nature reserve tomorrow (Wed) and hoping to have a full day in there have already snapped some Black Vultures this afternoon....

Landed at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and drove to Charleston where we stayed the night. Walked around Charleston which is really beautiful, very chic and colonial with much French influence. It is very unspoilt and has the most stunning architecture and houses that dreams are made of!!!!!!!!!!!! Dread to think how much they cost!!!! Well here we are in a very, very hot and sunny Atlanta, still in the deep ole south. It is beautiful here with an abundance of wildlife. We are really tierd with all the travelling and really just having a chilling day today in the hotel, as the room is very superior and boasts a large balcony with patio furniture, so we are sunbathing!! We landed in Memphis, Tennessee around 2pm this afternoon (we are now only 6 hours behind you in the UK). We flew over the football stadium and the famous Mississippi River as we came in to land. We have spent the afternoon chilling out as we were up at 05.20 hours this morning for our flight. Tomorrow we are hiring a car and visiting Gracelands and then we are planning to cross over two states, visiting Arkansas and Mississippi! Busy day!!!! Will upload more pic...

We arrived at Colorado Springs yesterday (10th Sept), where we stayed the night. Springs is wonderful and great for shopping and restaurants. Today we set off for our 230 mile drive to Montrose. This took us quite some time as the views are spectacular and you just have to keep stopping to take photographs and admire the scenery. I have never, ever been anywhere so beautiful in my life!
