6 hours on a bus from KK we arrived in Sepilok. It's not really a town/village more like a dead end of the road before you hit the rainforest. On monday we made the trip from Singapore to kota Kinabalu, borneo via a stop in KL. We checked into PODs backpacker and then set out to explore the town. On Monday we left KL and headed to the cameron highlands. The road was very steep and narrow up the mountains and as we got just 25km away the road was blocked due to an accident. This meant and 2.5 hour detour back down the mountain and then up the other side! Because of Sarahs infection we adjusted our plans slightly and on Thursday we jumped on a bus to Kuala Lumpur. My parents have some friends that live in the city and kindly agreed to put us up for a few days. They have been wonderful hosts and taken really goo care of us!
