7-0!!!!!!!!! Yey!!!! Here's the latest from number 70: had a very dramatic weekend, we know you've heard about caz but she is on the mend and has been very brave. (by the way tor is wearing her hieroglyphics t shirt as we write!!!) There is some serious Zone controversey - it opens at EIGHT PM...and there are no tickets...we don't agree with all these changes. Now debs has run off to talk to mummy lovelady. I'm gonna make a brew, she's taking aaaages. i'll let her have the final word when she's back: over to you zebra green --- why thank you miss smalley.... mummy green is very well and nikki green is visiting on friday for her first bit of zone action (we hope!) Ah well, after a bottle of vodka and a few sambucas im sure we wont care where we end up! Take care men and keep us updated on the latest funs of the travels x x x

Hi Simon, looks like your having fun!!! that was a great Pop eye impression and the line you should have used for the cigarette was "Mum it's not mine honest I was holding it for a friend" It works every time believe me. I thought you would have finished drinking by now as you look drunk in almost every photo, I'm glad to see you were doing something useful with your time at Uni.
Take care Pete

Ha! Did an ARSENAL fan just try to make fun of another team's performance in Europe! When you win a single UEFA cup or a European Cup, let alone 3 of the former and 5 of the latter, then I may accept that you can speak about Europe with some authority. Until such time I would thank Arsenal fans to leave talk of Europe to the big boys, and to concentrate on trying to scrape 4th from their local rivals.

Simon, terrible result. Even Everton could have done better on Wednesday. Now, look at the positive side: you are going to lose your manager, the keeper and may be two or three more good players soon. I hope all is well. See you soon.

A most uninspired performance by Liverpool, we never quite took control of the mid-field, which is unusual given our success in this area in previous matches. Alarm bells began to ring early on when Warnock and particularly Traore looked nervous in defence. This began to sap confidence elsewhere in the team and the prospects of a clean sheet were dispelled after 35 minutes, a good strike but not closed down quickly enough. From that moment on Liverpool huffed and puffed, as only they can. The service to the front two was, as usual plentiful but of a lower quality required at this level and when the quality was provided the strikes were not up to it. The crowd played their part magnificently throughout but could not make up for tired legs and technical deficiencies. A tactical switch to three at the back brought concerted pressure to bear on the Benfica defence but to no avail. We did have the ball in the net at one stage but was ruled out because the ball had gone out of play from the corner kick. Then the sucker punch, caught on the break in the closing minutes, but it was effectively over before their second goal. Had Hyypia and Riise been fit maybe the outcome would have been different. At the final whistle the crown stood up and applauded Benfica from the field as worthy winners. Several Liverpool players need a break to recharge their batteries for the Premiership run in, qualification for this tournament next year a must.
