Today was testament to the fact that anything can happen to you while you are on the road.One minute I was in bed at my nice hotel and the next I was cuddling a bear!More about that later.

We got up this morning and were picked up for our elephant ride.We drove for about an hour to the safari park and got on an elephant named Efi.We got to ride her for about half an hour and then I fed her.Slightly less aggressive about being fed than an African Elephant, then the elephant gave me a hug with her trunk.The people at the park then asked if I would like my picture taken with a honey bear.Now how could I refuse that?

I went and sat on this bench and then this beautiful bear called "Ajit" came and sat on me and put her arms around me.She was quite heavy, probably about 40kg.Mum also plucked up the courage to sit next to me while I held the large bear.I wasn't scared of her at all, she had such a lovely nature.She had huge long paws, with big thick claws and strangely no teeth, mainly because she was a honey bear and they don't have teeth.Still, it looked strange.

After the close encounter with the animals we had lunch and were taken back to the hotel, where we sat by the pool for a bit longer.While we were swimming our driver turned up for our dinner cruise 2 hours early and told us we had 5 minutes to get ready.Fun.We got in the van and picked some other people up. One of the other hotels was down this awful bumpy road….I turned to Mum and said "You know I don't mind a bit of off road driving, but I'm usually wearing khaki shorts, a singlet and boots not an evening dress!

We got to Benoa harbour and boarded our boat.We had dinner which was awful and then watched a show they put on for us.After the cruise we drove back to the hotel and went off to bed.
