Vegas baby!
So we left LA and made our way to Las Vegas through what seemed like an endless amount of desert. The closer we got to Vegas, the higher the temperature rose and by the time we arrived, it was around 43 degrees! None of us were prepared for the heat and at first it was pretty hard to breathe!
As soon as we arrived we dropped our bags to our room and went for a wander around the hotels and casinos. The hotels in Vegas are just crazy, they are all huge taking up a few blocks each and all of the major hotels on the strip has its own theme. We managed to visit each hotel on the strip and were blown away with each one.
Vegas looks a lot better in the night as all the casinos are lit up. One of the first casinos we visited to try a bit of gambling was the Bellagio. Unfortunately the Bellagio is probably one of the most expensive casinos in Vegas with most minimum bets being $10 to $15. So we realised we were better off in the cheaper casino’s with cheaper minimum bets! We also made sure we got to watch the water fountain show located at the Bellagio. The fountains are designed to move around to various songs and shoot water about 40ft into the air! It was pretty spectacular! There was also a volcano show at the Mirage, which is similar to the fountains where it looks like a volcano is erupting along to music!
We had a great time and so fun in Vegas, but if we ever go again we will make sure it is during the winter!
