We have arrived back in Sydney after a few days touring and drinking the Hunter Valley wine region. We are staying with Tony & Rosanne for the weekend then heading over to Adelaide. We've driven 6000km so far and still have over a month left in Oz.

We had a great few days on the beach at Byron Bay and visited Byron Cape & Lighthouse, the furthest East point of mainland Australia. We have made it back into New South Wales from Queensland after a few great days in Brisbane. We had a day at Australia Zoo, the home of Crocodile Hunter. The zoo is very hands on with keepers in with most of the animals to answer any questions. The Crocs were great and a show takes place in the "Crocoseum", a 5000 seater stadium. It's one of the best zoos we've been to by far. Didn't see any stingrays though! We stayed on the outskirts of Brisbane ...

We have made it a little further down the coast to Hervey Beach, overlooking Fraser Island, just north of Brisbane. We have driven nearly 3000km since leaving Cairns and we are still in Queensland and have only turned the page in our road atlas once! I think we have settled back into camping again now, the nights are getting earlier and we are forced to get up by 8am because of the heat.
