Today we drove North of Alice Springs, over the Tropic of Capricorn again, up to the Devil's Marbles. It's an amazing sight because after 400km of seeing next to nothing there are suddenly lots of boulders all over the place, some stacked on others, and naturally occuring.
We played I spy with my little eye during the four hour journey to the Marbles but after "road", "sky", "tree" & "bush" we ran out of options! We did invent our own game of "spot the car from afar", Lucy won with two great spots!
Although our trip took all day and was 830km (515 miles) it was better than spending the day in Alice Springs which is full of drunk Aboriginals!
Tomorrow we are flying back to Melbourne and from there up to Sydney via Phillip Island and Bateman's Bay. This time next week we'll be in New Zealand!
