We had a great few days on the beach at Byron Bay and visited Byron Cape & Lighthouse, the furthest East point of mainland Australia. Byron Bay is famous for being a hippy town and my god there are some strange people there!
We then headed further south, we had been recommended a place called Coff's Harbour, about 150km south of Byron Bay but the town was quiet and the camp ground was in the middle of nowhere so we kept going and found a great little town just south with fabulous fish & chips!
This morning we packed up and drove further south still to Port Macquarie where I think we'll spend another couple of nights. Sydney is now back on the signposts so after 4500km we are getting there! On our travels we have seen some great signs for places like; Bald k*** Road, Blackman Point, Yorkies k*** and Humpty Dumpty Creek. We'll keep a list!
