Our last few days in New Zealand were fairly uneventful; we didn’t go back into Auckland but stayed closer to the airport. We offloaded all of our camping gear and food that we had left over, we exchanged books, got all of our clothes washed and dried, emptied the camper and packed for the hundredth time. All the exciting travelling stuff!

Our flights with Pacific Air were good and I met two old clients from Kimbolton on the plane proving it is indeed a small world.

We haven’t seen a great deal of Fiji yet despite being here since Friday. More by luck than good judgement, we booked an amazing hotel and the weather has been great. We are staying on Denarau Island about 20 minutes from Nadi airport. Somehow we have been given a suite at the hotel we have gone from small campervan to a one bedroom apartment complete with a huge bed, terrace, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, lounge/diner, plasma TVs and a six seater dining table!
