Well am on the plane tomorrow/today so thought id leave one last Thai postcard.
Have had a good last night here as i went out with Gog's sister Gig to some massie Birthday party and sang to unknown Thai songs and drank Jonnie Walker into the night. My last few days here, staying with the Leelatians, have been great though. I've been around Bangkok by bus, sky-train, taxi, boat and motorcycle and seen lots of great things. Went to the Natonal Museum a few days ago and it was actualy quite interesting (tho it did take ages getting there). As i said before i broke my camera but you cant really travel with no camera so went and bought a new one today. This did however mean spending quite a bit of money...
My month in Thailand has taught me a few things;
- Thai's love Jonnie Walker
- The mango's here taste better than at home
- The people are, in general, very friendly. The Land of Smiles.
- The food is amazing
- Everything is cheap (though not digital cameras)
- I love travelling
- Coconut shakes are delicious
- My kilt is the most valuable thing in my backpack
Basicly, iv just loved it and i'm hoping that Australia will be just as great.
