Just about to leave Adelaide tomorrow after being here for a week. Have had a great time here and the hostel we stayed at certainly had a few characters staying there. For the past week i also had a job as the 'Breakfast Boy' and was making pancakes, serving fruit and replenishing the jam every morning from 7-10am, easy work but hard to get up in the mornings. Also it was a great way to talk to everyone staying and get all the gossip from the past few days...
I think the funniest story i heard was; a women took her rabbit into a dorm with her and so 3 other backpackers complained to reception (there was a bit of an odd smell). This however caused the rabbit lady to go crazy and start shouting at the 3 English girls and after they left the room she fertilized their clothes, bags and bed with rabbit droppings! Funny for everyone but the girls.
Like iv said had a great time and even managed to meet with Ali (friend from school) and Chris Ward, who was in contact with Dad for the past 8 years about Dunesk! He even organised for me to go to the local jhospital to see the 'Dunesk Ward'! Well, it all has to come to an end and at 7:30am tomorrow im off in a volvo to Darwin (3000km!). In the car there will be me, Ben (Canadian), Dennis (German) and a French girl (cant remember her name yet). Should be fun as we are taking 9 days to cross the outback and stopping in some great places. Photos to follow!
