This should be quite a short blog as all we did today was drive from Brunswick Heads to Hawks Nest, to stay over night on a camp site and then finish our journey to Sydney tomorrow.

The trip started well, we packed up and left Cathy's, heading south to Sydney. We had google mapped how long it would take to get to Hawks Nest, 7 hours google reckoned, after plumbing the details into sat nav we realised it was more like 8 haha.

The journey itself was quite good just a few delays in road works. This meant we arrived at 5.20 to find out all camp sites shut at 5.

Soo we planned to stay on this particular campsite illegally with no access to showers or toilets as we didn't have a key. We woke up early to be honest and head straight to reception to pay for our stay, only for phil to open the boot to find we had been joined over night by a huntsman spider!!!!

I stayed on guard whilst phil went to pay and returned with some fly killer, after gassing the spider at arms length calm was restored and we set off for Sydney.
