We decided to do some reminiscing in relation to our trip (some say it could be seen as homework !!!) under the following headings :

TOP 5s - Favourite things...not so fond off...learnt to like...intrigued us.

We each came up with our own lists.

Here is Hannah's Lists

Favourite things - 1. bombing memorial @ Oklahoma - 2. chopper ride over the grand canyon - 3. aerial tramway to Sandia Peak - 4. meet and greet BBQ - 5. St Louis Arch (she also had 6. as Fremont st and 7. as New York)

Not so fond of - 1. her hair cur at Branson - 2. not having lamb or even setting eyes on a sheep - 3. people who fart on the bus - 4. eating too much - 5. Carol (she also had 6. as baby poo smell on the plane for 15 hours and 7. as he skunk smell)

Learnt to like - 1. walking as our mode of transport - 2. airplane trips - 3. squirrels - 4. 3 course meals - 5. majhavie desert

Intrigued us - 1. some people's dress code - 2. armadillos - 3. the art of jumping queues - 4.boxhead weed man in NY - 5. health adverts..the warnings.

Things I would do differently....pack muck lighter !!!!!

favourite things - 1. Carland ! - 2. Fremont street show - 3. chopper over the Grand canyon - 4. Randy, our tour guide - 5. New York (and special mention to the way the US does memorials..Oklahoma in particular)

Not so fond of - 1. sweet yam (sweet potato and marshmallow) - 2. being told a set pick up time and not sticking to it (by the bus driver!!) - 3. american money being all the same colour - 4. large servings of everything - 5. lack of clocks and public toilets.

Learnt to like - 1. Peanut butter ice cream (yum) - 2. cinnamon rolls - 3. the great job the national parks do - 4. the respect for their military - 5. blue cheese as a topping on meat and salads.

Intrigued us - 1. tipping (confused the heck out of me) - 2. self flushing toilets and the fear of being sucked in - 3. lane changes with no indication - 4. sauce on everything - 5. how clean NY was!
