This morning we didn't set an alarm and we were all up at a fairly respectable 8am woken by the smell of bacon and eggs being cooked. I was quite excited this morning as I had to get up early so that I could go on a 3 day trip on Fraser Island in a 4x4 car with 2 nights camping on the beach. I had breakfast on my own this morning as Emma and Jane had not surfaced from their beds which also gave me some time to do some laundry here at the hostel as I wasn't sure when I would be next somewhere with laundry facilities.I finally saw Emma and Jane at around 11:30 and we went into town for some lunch before we said our goodbyes as they had to catch their bus up to Airlie beach. We didn't really have any plans today so Jane and I got out the Lonely Plant and had a look to see if there was anything that we could do today that was nearby. The only thing that we found that didn’t involve whale watching or visiting Fraser Island was a visit to the Bundaberg rum distillery and although neither of us were interested in rum we decided that it was at least somewhere to go and also better than just driving around for the day.www.bundab...
