Wow this place is amazingly beautiful...and we dont want to leave tomorrow. We meet some people who said that phi phi was a big disappointment to them. Well it has been a totally different experience for us. Phi Phi has been everything and more for us. We dont really have to tell you thats its beautiful...you probably have seen that! But there is a feel about it......i dont know if it is because of the Tsunami. The way that the people here have re-built and moved on from the devastating effects of that day is really moving. The tributes to the victims (local and backpacker)of the tsunami are everywhere though. We took a walk one day up too a viewpoint on top of the hill. This view was amazing....you could see right out across the ocean where the tsumani would of came in. This strip of land which is so small in terms of width just got copletely swamped. At this viewpoint there was a tribute too all the backpackers that died on that day....... it read "Keep partying on Phi Phi" We went on a snokelling trip around both the islands. Brillant. We visited the famous Maya Bay and Bamboo island......no see sickness! Yippee!!! Before i go........off too a bar in a min i have too mention the phi phi bakery. Pete and I have ate in this bakery every day since ariving. Oh my god it does the best homestyle meals ever! If you ever come to Phi Phi...its a must. :)
