On the 8th we said our goodbyes for another month and a bit and travelled down to Nice. The weather had been great in Paris apart from one thunderstorm but down here it is just fantastic. Nice is an incredibly pretty little city on the coast and it's great to be by the sea.

On the 7th we did some more sightseeing and got to see the Notre Dame and went inside - unfortunately did not get to see Quasimodo. We then went to the Lourve which was really cool (the photo is of Paige and Rosie outside). Then we had some lunch sitting in the gardens and took a boat ride down the Sain to the Eiffel Tower. It was much bigger and better than I expected, I get that some people don't like it, and I thought it would just be another tourist attractio...

On the 6th Paige and I met my Dad, Mandy, Rosie, Rhiannon and Erin at Gare du Nord to stay with them at a hotel for a few days while they were in Paris. We went to see the Sacre Creur and walked up to the top to get a great view of Paris. Then we had a walk around and went out for a nice meal in the evening.
