Arrived in Marsaille from Nice to more great weather. There are some very beautiful parts to this little part of Provence but maybe not as nice as Nice! Staying in a good hostel here which always helps! There was an awesome carnival on today aswell, which was cool that it happened to be on the day we were there. It seemed the whole city was there by the port to watch. The parade was really great and confetti basically lined the street afterwards.

Today we had to move hostels because there wasn't any room in the inn for a few more nights for the two of us. So we are further away from the beach now but closer to the station. After dropping our backpacks at the new place we got the train over to Monaco and spent most of the day there. Yesterday (9th) we just explored the town for the whole day and didn't do anything in particular. It was fantastic. We took a walk up 'castle hill' and around the parks up there, then around the old town and market; where we bought a baguette, and some cheese and cold meats for lunch.
