Well I must say, Melbourne started off really bad, got better and then ended really bad too! The first day I got there (Friday), the hostel room was really noisy and people tended to go to bed at 6am after spending most of the night talking loudly outside which kept everyone else awake. Then that same night, we had a nightmare trying to find a pub we were meeting friends at, I walked miles in heels (what an idiot) only to get a schooner of beer chucked ...

Well I flew into Melbourne yesterday morning. The hostel Martine and I were booked into wasn't exactly the best, and the room we were given was situated in between all the washrooms which kept us awake (well not me, I sleep through anything...). I walked about 4km yesterday, checking out all the sites and stuff. Melbourne's ok but I think I prefer Sydney. It's got a lot more going on than just shopping like Melbourne.
