Here I go again... When I set out on my first journey I didn't realize how much the experience would change me. Now, over a year later, I am just beginning to comprehend how different I have become. In a matter of hours I will be in a strange place, surrounded by strange people, with no one to rely on but myself... and I am scared to death. But I know that I put myself into these "sink-or-swim" kind of situations on purpose, because I absolutely refuse to fail, so that means I must find a way to swim... During my trip last summer I waded into the waters slowly... I was better prepared and more confident then. This trip, I'm cannonballing into the deep end... I really hope that I can keep from sinking, but if I do sink, at least I'll have created an incredible splash!
