We have arrived to Rishikesh which is where the beatles came in the 60's. the town is lovely and built along side of the ganges. its a very spiritual place with lots of holy people. today we did yoga for breakfast and then went to the beatles ashram which is closed to the public but we paid the security gaurd and it was full of eggs! amazing. then we swam in the ganges and then james had a pizza and i had an idonesian curry that tasted like peanut butter. james h...

Just had 3 days in bikaner. we visited a temple full of holy rats and then went on a camel safari in the desert. james got a saw on his bottom as a result of too much camel riding.

We're a bit behind schedule so we're picking up speed now and have popped by at Jodhpur - the 'blue city' of rajasthan and the birthplace of 'stylish' riding trousers for posh people. There's a big fort (another one ... yawn), which looks a bit like the one in the pic...

After a week dossing in Udaipur, we've got off our fat arses and made our way to the joyous town of Mount Abu. This town is where rich indian newly weds come for their honeymoon and it is as tacky as hell. We've found our spiritual home amongst the cheap gift shops and the swan shaped pedloes. I think we even found enlightenment during the 'lazer meditation light show'.

Udipur is great. saw bond last night. best bit was when he went to an island of lycra clad women disgused as a plastic crocodile! brilliant!
