Packing!

I have been dreading this one task pretty much since this trip became a reality. I really hate packing...

Today I spent pretty much the entire day trying to figure out the best way to go about packing what I will need for a trip of a lifetime, and let me tell you it's not easy to predict what will be needed in the next 50ays, even if I do have an itinerary. Because we are staying in hostels and doing both the UK (where it will no doubt rain) and southern Europe (where I expect to sweat, to say the least) Figuring out what exactly to bring has been a nightmare.

I decided to go with the rolling technique and the bag inside bags technique. Essentially that means that all my clothes were folded and then rolled with elastics placed around them to hold it together. I then places all my clothes in one fabric bag inside my backpack (as it is huge and when I initially just put them inside the bag it became a real organizational mess) I then took all my sleeping "stuff" and put it in another bag, also inside the bag. Lastly I put all my cosmetics inside a plastic bag, inside my make-up bag, inside my entertainment bag and I was good to go. However even though I'm trying to pack lightly I did make room for my hair straightner!

As far as clothes whats in the picture is all im bringing..it should be good enough for 50 days right?
