Our flight over was great and actually didn't seem as long as expected - a great chance to catch up on the latest movies I've been wanting to see. Everything here is super-efficient, customs was a breeze and no trouble getting to the hotel.

Colin wants to tell everyone about the toilet... (and especially you Dude! :) This thing (see pics of controls) will actually wash AND dry your privates in any way imaginable, with a heated seat to boot!! The view of the city from our room is amazing but unfortunately we're only going to see Tokyo in the dark. It's 5:30 am here right now - no restaurants open until 6:30 which is when we catch the bus back to the airport - had to make do with coffee from a vending machine down the street from our hotel.

The Hie Shrine is right next door and Japanese drummers announce the opening at 6am so we're heading down to try to see that at least...
