Left Dease Lake in the pouring rain but about 30 minutes down the road it was sunny again. We have really been blessed with great weather this trip. Ride from Valdez to Tok through some incredible mountain ranges but the highlight of the day was a moose grazing in the water right by the road. She didn't mind at all as we sat enjoying watching her for quite awhile.

Ride from Anchorage to Whittier in the rain for the most part but bearable. The most exciting part was going through the Whittier tunnel which is a 2 mile one way tunnel through the mountain. Every half hour it changes from train tunnel to road traffic, one way at a time. They only allow motorcycles to go through last and they give you quite a long lecture on safety in going through the tunnel as they have had several accidents in the tunnel. You have to make ...

Not doing much here, just mainly getting laundry done and getting ready for the rest of the trip. Pouring rain so we canceled our plans for a side trip to the Alaska Wildlife Preserve as it is mostly outdoors.
