Woke up early and drove all the way to grand Teton national park. Arrived at jenny' s lake at around 12. Did the whole around the lake hike which is a good 10 miles of pretty flat terrain. Seen lots of wild life, lovely mountains that looks a bit more like the alps. Night in Jackson.

Back with Internet connection. Woke up in morning early and went to gros ventre river for some moose spotting. .. Guess what got one crossing the river. Then direction Yellowstone and hike at the riddle lake with a bear warning sign at the entrance of the path. We met a lunatic on the way scared about government secret and laser beam coming from the sky... No bears though. Sleeping in our lodge at mammoth lodge no bathroom there just like camping

Today went back to dinosaur national monument from the Jensen entrance. Took the rangers guided tour and went to check some dinosaur bones. Then took the car to see pictograms on the rocks and the house of Josy Bassett lady who lived for 50 years by herself in the wild without electricity, phone... Left around 12 direction grand teton national park. On the way stopped for a guided tour of the flaming gorge dam. Long drive in the high windy planes of Wyoming and ...

Day 2 in yellowstone, woke up about 11 (yeh right!!?) up at 6 and at mammoth springs for 6.30 on our first full day in Yellowstone. Geyser day today. Started with the hot pools (see picture) just above the hotel, nice smell of sulphur to start the day!! Drove south, back down through the park to old faithful, on the way stopping to see the fairy falls, met a lovely couple from Ohio and joined up for a 10 mile round trip to the falls passing by hot springs and bis...
