Finally back to civilisation. Then in a moment of madness booked ANOTHER camping trip to Kakadu National Park. What were we thinking? However it was well worth the 4.30am start as the area is beautiful. We went croc spotting in a billabong and saw two salties (big crocodiles). It is so hot here!!!!! We joined a tour for three days to see some of the centre of Australia. We arrived at Ayers Rock (Uluru to the locals) and did a base walk in the blistering heat. We watched the sunset and the sunrise at the rock when it changes colour. We also climbed Kings Canyon which was tough in parts but worth it for the fantastic views.
