Well all I can say so far is that this place is really upside down. I mean I've just been shopping, as a gentleman does, and Ugg boots are $AU129 and Crocs are $AU 150 I don't believe it!!!!

Have come in contact with 1 or 2 IPs ( indigenous population ie Abo's) and am not too impressed. Whilst sitting having my tea in Perth last night, al fresco don't ya know, an IP insisted on having some of my food. I told him that if he'd said please and thank you I may have considered but 'gimme some of yer f***in' tucker mate' didn't sit well so I cordially turned down his request.

Fremantle is great, very continental, loads of outside cafes and cool bars. Loads of history dating back to the settlers - of their own free will back in the 1820/30s.

I've visited the compulsory museum/prison/wool warehouse that befits a tourist so I can regale you all with tales of adventure and misadventure of the founders on my return.
