hey we were in bangkok for about 6 hours and got scammed!! we went for a seafood meal and ended up paying 5000 baht for it- which is about 75 pound! we didnt pay it tho, paul being the tight student was only willing to pay 4000 baht, still too expensive but they would take us to the police station other wise!!!! today we went to 'grand palace', it was really beautiful and we've booked our accomadation for thai for the next month with T.A.T(dont worry dee its run through the govenment for tourists). going to kanchanaburi tomorrow and for the next 3 days! we're off to ko san road tonight which is full of tourists drinking etc so paul will love that! byeeee please put a message on the message board- thanks paul and tas
