27th June 2006 - Day 88

Cessnock, into the Lower Hunter Valley to taste some wine, eat some smelly cheese and indulge ourselves in some gorgeous fudge!! yum!! Bought a few bottles of wine from Hungerford Hill - very nice! Drove around the country side and it felt very British, it is called New South Wales after all - even found a village called Cardiff. Headed for the Blue Mountains camping at Katoomba Falls - another very cold night!

28th June 2006 - Day 89

Went for a nice long walk around the Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters and down to the forest floor. Then back up the hill via the cable car - amazing views. Camped in Megalong valley at abother free site. Quite scary all on our own miles away from civilisation, very dark and eerie. Had a big old fire to keep away the beasties. Another coold cooooold night!

29th June 2006 - Day 90

Blue Mountains - headed out the long way round back to Sydney, watching out for the amazing views of the Mountains. Saw an old old ghost town dead since the gold rush i think! Camped that night at Narrabean north of Sydney, our second last night in the van, boo hoo!!
