Hi guys, we are a family of 4 travelling like you with our CT. We dont have a well set up 4wd like you but we where not planning on rough tracks anyway. We just secured some work on Dunbar Station on the BDR. I been looking for info on the road and came accross your blog. After seeing what you guys went through there is no way we could manage that in our 4wd. Im glad I saw it and glad you posted it. Enjoy your trip and thanks for sharing, what an amazing blog

What an amazing journey. Have been looking through your videos to get a snap shot and they are just amazing! Makes me want to pack up house and get out there - such amazing country. Keep enjoying WA and all the amazing things it has to offer. There was an amazing gorge we use to go to about an hour north (I think..) of Port Hedland but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called... really helpful.. And enjoy the South Hedland shopping centre, I think it will be the highlight of your trip ;-)

Aren't the Bungle Bungles just great we loved it there & stayed for 4 nights, we had Ted Egan sing at the Cathedral (i think) Now the Gibb River Road, we found it interesting and to appreciate the surrounds you need to take your time and continue enjoy the journey.
We happened to go to Old Mornington Station whilst going down the Gibb River Road and it was great, bush camping, a shower & a toliet and the bar in the middle of no where ! But I am guessing that it has probably gone all goochy now. Anyhoo continue to enjoy luv the story and the pics.

Hi guys
Good to see you are still having fun. We can relate to Litchfield as we visited there in 2001. Be sure to visit the Aircraft museum with the B52 Bomber on the Stuart Hwy on the way into Darwin. Great to see no fights between you both. Continue to have fun and enjoy the greatest country on earth.
Regards Lynne & Mick
