Auckland: City of Sails!

After a very long journey (broke my record of flying hours with a total of 25) I finally arrived safely in the early morning in New Zealand.

What a great city it is! Loved the high buildings, chaos of every day lives, the coffee baristas, local cafes, many green parks and most of all the beautiful harbour.

#happymoments:
- taking photos on request by my new chinese friends on the plane; one task down from the bucketlist!
- enjoying the amazing view of Auckland @Skytower
- Getting the groove by Maori music and dances @ Auckland Museum, Maori dance performance

#neveragain:
- 25 hours of flying straight ahead with a previous jetlag
- transferflight through Shanghai without visa
- walking on glass bottoms @Skytower is way scary!

@Mercure hotel Ackland

#tastyfood:
- white chocolate cookie crumble frappochino @Starbucks
- spicy chicken sandwich @Subway (sorry couldn't resist after the airline food)

Tomorrow Coromandel it is! Can't wait for the mud pools @hotwaterbeach
