Saturday Feb 2nd 2002 - The journey begins

Tearful goodbyes at Dublin airport (Dad, Edward, Anna, Pat, Emma, Mary, Catherine, Bill, Marcella and Jack). Onwards to our delayed flight to Frankfurt and on to Prague. Bus 119 (with the grumpy Czech soldier) and Metro A into the city. We struggled up to Hotel St George on Tyrsova (€67) - uphill and hot, hot, hot. Checked out some restaurants around the hotel and ended up in Buffalo Bills fajita place. Afterwards we strolled through the old town and finished up with a beer and some hot wine near Charles Bridge (Bar u Cervencho Rava). The night was so clear and the buildings so beautiful.
