Hi everyone! Chiang Mai was great for a week - lazing about with our tribal neighbours, elephants and a mad Dutchman or two. Always on their own....doesn't take long to realise why! (in the nicest way) whistlestop stay back in bangkok for songkran (their new year). All day from Wednesday to Saturday its one big waterfight with some flour and clay thrown in for a laugh. Washes away last years bad spirits apparently! Streets are closed and the police confiscate you...

Hey everyone, just got here...in Bangkok...been in Hong Kong for 5 days..not too bothered to leave it behind but we had a good time all the same - the 7s rugby livened the place up a bit but also meant we couldn\'t get anywhere to stay and the drink cost twice as much! got a couple of days here then off up for a bit of trekking and elephant rides in Chiang Mai..the usual! hope your all ok..please keep leaving the msgs, its great to hear from you all!
