Chris This business with paying the tickets as you go can't be right. Some trains have a supplement on the Eurorail pass, but not all: you probably just have to get info in advance as to which trains do and which don't. Try it out? Sans station should be able to help you in Barcelona.

Tom Yo Pat and Nat!!! So glad you are also travelling and have shared my pain of sunburn :)! Yes I spent the first week of India in pure shock being chased around Delhi. Don't worry it passes and you end up loving it (even when things go a bit crap). Will be awesome to see you in August.

(It's because they have more interesting lives, and a lot of tapas to get to). (On Sunday last in Madrid John and I saw some sort of record set: the whole 50 metres wide of the Paseo del Prado blocked horizontally by hand-locked strollers). Editors Note= after further experience, Spaniards also HATE it when they realise we are english, They all seem to love staring at you for minutes on end and even if you stare back...it turns into a staring match!!!!
